Went today for lunch and had a VERY BAD experience. I ordered the Navratan Korma mild because I medically can’t eat spicy food. Our waiter brought our food out and with that first bite I realized it mine was spicy! I had the person I was dining with take a bite and agreed it was MUCH spicier then her medium. I called the waiter back and explained that I can’t eat spicy food, please make it mild. He said he misunderstood me somehow. This I had to question because the words mild and spicy don’t sound anything alike. He brought me my “new” plate of mild but it was just as spicy as the first! It literally was the same plate they just put more sauce on it. I had my friend try it again and she agreed it was spicy. I didn’t bother asking for another just ate the small slice of naan bread and ¾ of the samosa that came with my meal. When the waiter came back I told him AGAIN this was spicy and I can’t eat spicy food. He made me pay 80% of the meals cost when all I ate was part of the samosa and tiny piece of naan bread. Neither I nor the person I was with will ever go back again! I’ve had the same dish perfectly cooked at Passage of India off of International drive, 6129 Westwood Blvd, Orlando, FL 32821. I would recommend Passage of India if you’re looking for great food, atmosphere, great price, and professional service.

Tabla bar’s food tastes like home cooked meal. The food is neither too spicy nor too salty. It is just perfect. My Wife appreciated my suggestion of celebrating our anniversary at Tabla Bar.

We ordered the expensive chef's special menu since the menu was quite overwhelming. And anyways we assumed we weren't going back at the restaurant any time soon, living in CA. But unpredictably it was worth it. The gosht masala was delightful, the
