Every time I come to Lubbock I try to stop at Melt. The food is consistently top notch and the service is impeccable. I never write reviews but the meal I had last night is worth raving about. The bacon wrapped fillet was to die for and quite possibly the best steak I've eaten in Lubbock! It was paired with potatoes that were fried to crispy perfection and a vegetable combination that tasted fresh from the garden.
Every time I have visited I have had one of the owners greet me to ensure satisfaction. It seems like that is what has led to their success - a personal, hands-on approach that is sadly rare in restaurants in this day and age. If you've never been, it's a definite must!
