I recently visited the McDonalds in Bergen Park. I went through the drive-through to order. I started to order a Sweet Tea, but the employee could not understand me and asked me to repeat, I did politely and enunciated clearly. He still could not understand me so I repeated a third time. He still couldn't understand and asked if we could come inside. We told him we didn't want to, and he asked if we could wait and order at the window. So far, everything was going OK.
I guess he forgot to turn his microphone off, and he made some rude comments directed toward us we could hear through the speaker, and he used profanity. We told him we could still hear him. We decided to park and come inside to talk to the manager on duty. We walked in and "Edwin" wasn't much help either. When we tried to explain the situation to him, he tried to make excuses and defend the other employee, saying "he's having a bad day" and "he's the only one working in the back" and that the wait time was a little longer that normal because of it. It seemed that he wasn't even listening to what we were saying, because we didn't say anything about waiting.
We initially had no problems waiting or with the fact that we had to order at the window, our problem was his lack of respect for us as customers, and use of foul language. This was further made worse by the manager's lack of management skills.
We ended up leaving and taking our business for the night elsewhere, and we are going to tell anyone we know to avoid this restaurant in the future.
If you haven't been to the Whippletree in a while you must revisit. There's a new manager - Wesley! The food is great! There was live music on the patio last Saturday - sounds like maybe every Saturday - Wesley said the schedule is on their new web

Great sports bar to watch your favorite team! The best chicken wings from Hawaii to Colorado! Excellent choice of food and drink - generous pours. Service is great and the people are super nice.
