I went there with a friend two weeks ago, and it was a fantastic experience. I had the fillet, and I cannot remember ever having a better one. The wine sauce with mushrooms was to die for. Easily a 5 star experience. The wine that was recommended was great as well. We had a great time.
An abysmal experience. A clueless hostess who steered me immediately to a small table next to the restaurant was only the beginning. I sought Mario's out, having seen a mention online. But what a disappointment. Overpriced, overrated. We've eaten at some very good Italian restaurants around the country, and this isn't one of them. Save your money.

the absolute best filet I've ever had. i would never have dined here had a friend not told me how delicious the food was. spoke with the owner, also. a very nice man.
