Margaritagrille

My family and I vacationed in Hendersonville last year for memorial day. We ate at Margaritagrille because we have three kids and didn't want to eat from a vendor in the street. The food was seriously overpriced and two of the hamburgers were very pink inside. I commented to the waitress and they made new ones. Fine. This year we visited Hendersonville for their yearly Apple Festival on Labor Day weekend. Even though we had a bad experience previously with this restaurant, we chose to eat there again in spite of this for the same reasons. My 10 year old daughter and I both ordered the hamburger and were in such a hurry after waiting 45 minutes for our food, we noticed all too late that the burgers were not fully cooked. I brought this to the attention of the waitress (Jamie) and she said she would let the kitchen know. I wait another ten minutes for the check and realized she had charged us full price for the meals that weren't fully cooked and unedible. I didn't want to take my frustration out on her so I paid and walked outside to call the manager. The manager gets on the phone and I explain the situation. Not only do I not get an apology, she explains that they get their meat on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays so it is always fresh and that it is cooked to 120 degrees. I tell her that that may be the case, however, some people like their meat well done. I then proceed to tell her that if there is a slight chance the burgers will be mostly pink inside, you should let customers know when they order so they can have the option of ordering something else from the menu. She tells me "You know. That's a good idea. We'll make sure we do that" in a syrupy, fake customer service voice when you could tell she really just wanted to tell me to kiss her butt. Once I realized she wasn't taking my complaint seriously, I decided to hang up on her and notify the local health department instead.My advice is to not only avoid the hamburgers, but avoid the place entirely. They are not prepared for serving food in large quantities and their customer service is atrocious.
