Stopped here on the way back from Canyon Lake - Had out of town visitors with us, and thought they would enjoy the mining town, AZ tourist kind of atmosphere. It took 30 min, after we were seated to get a drink order in. After ordering, food took approximately 45 min to arrive. Food was very poor, and cheap tasting. Prices were high for what we got. Even though this is advertised as a "restaurant", it really is just a western bar serving poor-quality "bar food." Avoid it!

Server highly recommended the "Mammoth burger"
What I got was an overdone, dried out patty of overlean beef. It was so heavily seasoned with a Montreal style steak salt, that's all I could taste for hours. Fries were Ok.
Average iced tea in a little plastic cup.
No Air Conditioning!!!!
All this cost me $15 including tip.
What a rip off.

The New York Strip Steak was outstanding! Perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection! The homemade baked beans and baked potato made the perfect accompaniments. Live music and beautiful scenery really top it off. A truly wonderful experience! Must go.
