We go to Tivoli's on an average once a week and have for many many years. Everyone is great and the food is good (especially on Thursday night for Corn Beef and Cabbage.

The only reason we go to the Tivoli on Monday is for Karaoke with Darcy. Two weeks ago we joined two other couples who had already eaten dinner and then we ate. I should mention that the other two couples did not eat at the same time, one couple came first, ate and then was joined by another couple, who ate and then we joined all of them and ate. Anyway, the service was lousy and to add insult to injury, an 18% gratuity was added to the bill. When we complained to the manager, he said it said right on the menu that for tables of six there was an automatic charge. I pointed out to him if all six people ate at the same time, that would be understandable - but two by two didn't really justify the charge. We also pointed out that the service was lacking and he shrugged his shoulders and said `I can't help that`. Well, if he can't, who can? So, we'll go back but only because we are friends with Darcy - otherwise we wouldn't go - and if she does so do we...
