I work 2 miles from Lorenzo's and we love it! We eat at Lorenzo's 2-3 times a week. The pizza is terrific, there's a wide variety to choose from and a super lunch deal of 2 slices and a soda for $4.95. EXCELLENT NY style pizzeria for sure! They also have terrific stromboli, garlic knots and salads to choose from.

I feel it necessary to put together a review for as many sites as I can for the Italian Grotto in Scottsdale. We tried this place one time a year each time that we are in Scottsdale. Why, I do not know, since we receive the same treatment each time.

Really upset bout their reaction to my returning a dish (I had come back from home with a take-out pasta.) The manager maintained that oily noodles, with a few flakes of dried herbs, substituted for pesto. He made no offer to replace and was arrogant "It may be a little light on the "sauce"" was his response.
Cheese+garlic+basil+nuts=Pesto. Not oil and a few shakes of something out of a jar of dried stuff.
There's lot's of good pizza in Scottsdale. In my opinion, if you go here, stay with pizza (which is good) but expect to be treated rudely if you have a problem with what they make.
