Log Cabin Catering LTD first blossomed in the summer of 1993. Starting with events for friends and family, Linda Schlabach and Lovina Mullet started spreading their amazing amish style recipes in the Sugarcreek, Ohio area. Starting in an actual log cabin, Linda and Lovina quit their day-jobs to do catering full time. Soon guests discovered the warm and friendly atmosphere of Log Cabin Catering and we were busy with weddings, school parties, rehearsal dinners, wedding & baby showers, birthday parties and holiday parties. Originally surviving only on word of mouth advertising, we want the guests to let others know about us and how pleased they were with the food and service. With almost 18 years in business, it appears we have impressed our clients. We still love to see that each event has its own special touch. In winter of 2011, Log Cabin Catering moved to the former Swiss Hat building at 108 E. Main St. in the heart of Sugarcreek. The new building has two levels able to house your party or banquet up to 180 guests. However, we will always cater to the location of the guest's choice. Our new location also allows us to hold business meetings on either one of our two floor levels.In May of 2011, we will be opening as LL Log Cabin Dining. We'll be offering the same great dishes from our catering service from 7 am - 3 pm Monday - Tuesday and from 7 am - 8 pm Wednesday -Saturday. We welcome the working community to call ahead and order their lunches to have it ready for pick up or to sit down at one of our tables to eat before going back to work.We are very excited to cook Amish made food to the bus tours coming to visit the beautiful Amish country area.
