A never trendy, seldom sexy, vegetarian friendly, carnivorous compatible, hearty american, festive italian, tourist tolerant, family owned, neighborhood restaurant with nocturnal kitchens and divine delivered dining that's been nourishing chicagoland with good food and real hospitality since 1950.
Leona's cares deeply about the quality of our food. Our chicken is not only tender and juicy... it's steroid and hormone free. Our tomatoes are not genetically modified franken-maters that lesser restaurants pass off as "fresh". We import our pasta and cheeses, to ensure that we make the best possible dishes for our customers. We do this because we care about you. Leona's has 12 locations throughout Chicagoland. From the south suburbs to the north, we're well established in some of the city's best neighborhoods. We're not a chain in any sense of the word! The business is family owned, and always has been. No franchises, just the same proud and crazy family running things! We're the UN-CHAIN CHAIN. At Leona's, it's ALL good. Yeah, it's a marketing term, but there's actual love, care, and enthusiasm under it. We're not putting out the immutable swill that other chains concoct in a laboratory, with the intent to have an eternal shelf life... we're making homemade food from scratch, and serving it with a smile and a lenacake, every day.
