This casual and pleasant cafe-bar, with a lovely interior and a beautiful sidewalk garden patio is one of the city's happiest places to visit. Our expanded menu features a large selection of delicious starters, new Main Plates, the best and biggest French Dip Sandwich in town, a cheesy French Onion Soup and our signature Croque Monsieur that will whisk you to the Left Bank with every mouth-watering bite. No visit would be complete without a sampling of our menu of delicious savory and sweet crepes, where Nutella is king. Our candle-lit bar is cozy and friendly with a large selection of Belgium beers (Stella Artois, Chimay, Delirium Tremens, de Koninck, to name just a few), fine French wines and champagnes, top shelf liquors, and DC's most delicious cappuccinos, lattes, and mochas served in our oversized coffee bowls.     I have frequented this restaurant for close to 10 yrs. I moved from Arlinton 3 yrs. ago & try to go back to Cafe La Ruche when I'm in DC.3-4 times/yr.B'fast or Brunch is outstanding,omelletes & eggs benedict delicious. B

    This was absolutely the worst dining experience I've ever had, anywhere. I had a large party in this restaurant. the food came out a little at a time, dish by dish, and it took about an hour for all the dishes to appear.
