Leatha's is a Hattiesburg Staple. Featured on the Food Network and Travel Channel it's a unique dinning experience. Ms. Bonnie (daughter of Mrs. Leatha) is a jewel, wonderful people. The BBQ is above average and has a very sweet brown sugar sauce. Sides leave a little to be desired, but nobody goes to a BBQ place for the sides.

After moving our son into an appointment to attend USM in fall, we discovered this restaurant about 1 block away. We made several return trips for the brisquette - it's wonderful.
