Love the food, love the interior. You never run out of food choices or things to look at on the walls,just a great place to go and try something new.

I have to say this is not your typical dining experience..that's what I loved about it! The owner is great! if you walk in and get on his bad side then you are probably doomed, try to at least to get something to eat though because the food is wonderful. Picky or pushy eaters with no sense of humor you're wasting your time! More food for us!

The Landing Zone Grill, Harwinton Ct.-The LZ! THE BEST wings and ribs on the planet! The sawdust wings are da' bomb, try "sawdust/Medium/Hot and Smokey!" Amazing sautes' and seafood, the chowders are to die for! Over 100 kinds of cold beer and Flying Dog-Doggie Style on tap!!
This is NOT processed, frozen, re-heated pub dogfood. Everything here is fresh-made to order! The list of ingredients is staggering and top quality, I know, i've worked in the kitchen! Chef Cajun Joe Furnari is one of my best friends and, this is where I go for serious food, fun and laughter ! This is where my friends are; Joe, KJ, Chas, Glen, Brian, Don, Brenda, Brian N.,Tommy, Beth, Wes and Dianna! "Call your friends on the phone, feels just like comming home, drop in on ole' Cajun Joe, down at the Landing Zone!"* Get down there and be prepared to rock and be rocked!

If I could afford to, i'd eat here at least twice a day!!!

These people, and this place are what I will miss about Connecticut!!!

Though I've seen this place rated highly in the past, it appears that the owner has had some kind of mental breakdown. I've seen him yell and swear (f*** you, etc.) at guests and then kick them out of the building for simply seating themselves, rather than waiting to be seated. NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AS YOU ARE PLACING YOUR LIFE IN DANGER WITH SUCH AN UNSTABLE OWNER!

DO NOT GO TO THE LANDING ZONE. THE OWNER/CHEF HAS HAD SOME SORT OF MENTAL BREAKDOWN. We went there yesterday and were verbally accosted with fowl language - f**k and ass*** - because he mis-read what the waitress wrote and sent out the wrong order - not once but two times. He then proceeded to verbally barage us!! because we insisted he bring the right order. We were asked to leave and we did. We will never go back there and do NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!!
