Many years ago Xiomara Oliva began cooking for little parties, and expanded her horizons into a catering business called La Antigua Guatemala. Because people loved and enjoyed her food, many would ask when she will open a restaurant. Now Xiomara is running her own restaurant that has become the talk of the town.

Her catering service has been serving big events, including The Fashion Show in Seattle and many others. Now you can also come and try her food in a warm and welcoming restaurant, La Rivera Maya (Central American and Mexican cuisine).

Excellent food, very reasonable prices, attractive settings with attentive and friendly wait staff. As good as any Italian restaurant that I have been in. The storefront outside does not hint at what awaits you inside. The bread is fantastic!
