Featuring great live music Thursday through Sunday night and a wonderful atmosphere, the La Playita sports a great Latin American dinner menu that features Ecuadorian treats. The restaurant is moderately priced with many dinner selections served in hearty amounts. The hayacas is simply scrumptious, a mouthwatering selection of tamale meets plantains which boosts the flavors of the tamale, which features a robust corn filling with shredded chicken and sliced red onions for full flavor and that's just for starters.

The full menu features traditional Ecuadorian dishes such as chicken, plantains and rice, a delicious meal that is surprising in the amount of food served for such a reasonable price. This is perhaps the strongest suit for this restaurant.

While the ambience may not be as strong as with other Latin American restaurants, La Playita does make up for it with friendly service, plenty of space so you can sit comfortably and getting plenty for your money.
