We have been eating at LaCarreta for years now. The staff has always been friendly...the food is fantastic and we have NEVER had a bad experience or bad food. It is our go to place to eat!

I'm sorry but I don't know what is so great about this place. I love Mexican food and everytime I give this place a chance I think why did I come back. I think for the best Mexican food you should try La Costita off Stark in Troutdale.

This is probably the best mexican food you will find east of downtown portland. My boyfriend and I frequently go there it is one of our favorites. The meat is lean and well cooked. I cant say anything for seafood seeing as neither of us are really seafood people. Service is great and the restaurant is clean. They have great cocktails too!

After having dinner at this restaurant on Sunday August 30th my fiance and I have been ill for three days. I would not recommend dinning at this facility to anyone.

My family and I got very sick for 3 days after eating here on 08/31/2008. The food was so bad.

They did not honor a valid coupon. They said that they only take coupons Mon-Fri. and my family and I went to luch on a Saturday. After ordering the reqired 2 lunches and 2 beverages, plus more, they would not honor the coupon even though Absolutely NO WHERE on it does it say Mon-Fri only. All it said and all the advertisement where I got the coupon says only 'Dine-in only' Not valid holidays' and a expire by date. Agian, no where does anything say Mon-Fri. How was I or any other customer supposed to know this?? Unfair advertising and poor customer service to not take the coupon. Will never go again.

The quality of the meat in ther enchiladas and other common dishes is great. The chili rellenos are not made the traditional way and the seafood dishes are not great. If your in the mood for beef or chicken you will not be disappointed.
