Recommended by the desk clerk at a local motel we stayed at as we were heading west along the coast. My wife had the half shrimp half oyster basket, I had the roast beef po' boy. So good that we made a special trip back there on our way home to Florida! This time, shrimp and oyster po' boys. Like I had in New Orleans 30 years ago. Well worth finding.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the metro area. I have eaten almost everything on the menu. The salads are perfect. High quality vegetables-never a spot of wilted lettuce! Salad dressings are house made and awesome. Po-boys rate with the best in N.O. If you're not in the mood for sandwich or salad, don't worry- there are seafood entrees, spagetti and meatballs, and even beans and rice. Prices are quite reasonable too.
yummy food. when i usually go out to eat, i have one item i always order "just to be safe" but here i like so many things on the menu i have a hard time deciding. their spin/art dip is the best in slidell!! and i always have a togo box since their po

Ryan's is a wonderful family place to go for lunch or dinner. Good over all prices and the food is great down home cooking. My wife and I enjoy going there every chance we get.
My wife and I came in early Saturday evening with another couple for our 1st visit to Young's. We will definitely be back! The food was excellent, service was attentive and prompt, and it seemed to be a great value for so much quality. The portions w

My wife had the Shrimp Po-Boy and I had the Oyster Po-Boy - both were awesome!!!!! Service was way above average - mainly because of that Southern Hospitality - Very enjoyable experience.

The food can not be any better. PoBoys are great, and the seafood platter had quality and quantity. The nachos are excellent. Since Katrina, the service has dipped a little, however it is still OK.

First time I have been here as I am new to the area, but my husband is from Slidell. Food is all fresh, had catfish and potato salad - best I've had in Slidell. My husband says the roast beef po'boy is the best he's had since Tiger Drive-In. That's saying a lot! Expect a little wait for your food, as it is prepared to order! Definitely worth the wait, though!! Highly recommended!!

The best house dressing ever, creamy artichoke....but since Katrina the menu seems smaller and you have to order at a counter. But I will still go back.
