Diner reviews of Los Tres Amigos Mexican Rstrnt
A diner from Slidel, LA

I have been here a number of times and I always walk out saying "Next time we are sticking with Carretta's. The food was very rich to the point I was eating it for no reason. After the waitress came back 15 minutes later I told her that I did not want 2 of the 3 items. She said OK and proceeded with the bill. When I told her I was not paying for the terrible food she sent me to the manager. Totally unpleasant and I WILL NOT BE BACK. Carretta's is the best choice for Slidell.

There are now two Los Tres Amigos in Slidell, they have good happy hour drinks specials(overly pricey Margarita's) and menu that you spend a few hours reading...but the food was good ample portions..and nice explanations of what was what...I like the location at the former Bimini bay although the entry could use a clean-up and a better place to stow refuse...the smell of the trash was over powering when parking to enter the restaurant.

The food may be good but the service is horrible. It's no wonder why the parking lot was empty when I drove up. My first visit was not a happy experience, the Manager/owner's daughter should not be working there. She is

Ryan's is a wonderful family place to go for lunch or dinner. Good over all prices and the food is great down home cooking. My wife and I enjoy going there every chance we get.
