We eat at the Koloa Broiler every time we are on Kauai. It's an open air kind of place, as are many restaurants on Kauai. Ask to be seated on the back porch. There is a big grill in the middle of the main room, where you grill your own dinner. (you can't complain about the cooking)I order the Mahi-Mahi. Just make sure you leave one person at the table at all times once there is food on the table to keep the cats off the table that are free to wander in and out from the porch. I rated the ambience as 1 star because, well, it has none, and yet, the Hawaiian breezes that blow through, and the friendly wait staff, and yes, the cats are the best of ambience. It's.......Hawaii!!! No trip to Kauai is complete without a visit to the Koloa Broiler.
