Don't know where this diner from Chicago ate but it must not have been Khaki Jack's. A pint of Foster's draft is only $2 and a pint of Guinness is only $3. All domestic bottles are only $2. The portabella mushroom sandwich is to die for as are their hamburgers (best in Peoria)and other fare. If he/she ate there during the summer I'm sure the waitresses wore shorts but they are far from hooters-esque outfits. Also the service is not slow but extremely fast and friendly.

The portabello sandwich is very good and a good value, but $8 is too much for a draft in Peoria, especially for the location. Service is very slow. The waitresses wear hooters-esque outfits which does nothing for me.

Khaki Jack's has the best sandwiches in the city of Peoria. Their portabella mushroom sandwich is to die for. The prices are extremely cheap for the size of the servings. Salads are huge as are their pizzas. It is just a fun place to meet friends and hang out.
