It combines quality food with novelty and ambience...characteristics that are all to often over simplified.
It forever entertaining to watch people (often adults to their children...ok fathers to their sons) advise them on the techniques of cooking while they let their steak smolder in the center of the grill after dousing it with butter. Also a little food for thought... don't question the quality of the steak if you cook it more than medium...if you are going to eat a steak well-done...save the money and go to McDonalds.

O.K. I haven't dined there in a very long time and it was only once but it's something I remember to this day as being the BEST steakhouse I'd ever eaten at in my life! I soooooo want to go back there again. Our wedding anniversary is comming up and I am thinking I want ALEXANDERS!!!!I do wish they had more locations though than just the one in Peoria,that would be nice.
