Good food with a great atmosphere! We were sat out on the balcony which had a great view overlooking the Catawba River. They have a good variety of seafood and other items, so that everyone should be able to find something they desire. I had the potato crusted halibut and my wife had the sesame seared tuna. Both were VERY good. We WILL go back!

The food was edible. My girlfreind & I both had the NY strip & also added a lobster tail. Both steaks were under cooked & we sent the steaks back only to recieve them back the same way. Our waitress/manager was very rude & did not seem to care. We also ordered drinks & the bartender served us the wrong thing & this was not corrected. We had to pay full price for everything & was treated very poorly. This used to be a great place to eat until new management took over. My advise find somewhere else to dine. Overall rating 0 stars.

I have dined at Key West on many occasions. I have found the food to be the best in the Hickory Metro area. I highly recommend the Blackened Grouper with the Caribbean romoulade sauce,fresh vegetables.The service does from time to time lack the personal touch one seeks to find when dining out,but the host always does his best to make sure everyone in my dining party is satisfied with their meal.Just try out this place,you will not be disappointed.

I have been here several times. The best is the Sunday Brunch buffet. This place brings a little bit of the Keys to Hickory,NC. The food taste just as good as if you were eating fresh in Key West. This place has my vote hands down.

BEST CRAB LEGS I'VE EATEN IN A LONG TIME. WAY BETTER THAN RED LOBSTER. TALAPIA WAS AMAZING. BARTENTER SUCKED.

Since there are not many good restaurants in Hickory we were excited to try Key West. Not good. The service was o.k. The food was horrible. Crab cakes were made out of fake crab. Everything else had no flavor. Have tried it 3 times and won't go back.

Great service at the bar. Jessica is very attentive and knows the menu inside-out. As a business traveler, it is always great to find a friendly place to eat where the food is consistently top notch.

Started off fine, but since we wanted something light, we ordered fish sandwiches. Greasy and virtually tasteless. Baked potatoes were small. We asked for loaded. They came with nothing on them. Still, all could be forgiven until two couples sat beside us and started ordering appetizers and drinks. Since their bill was obviously going to be bigger than ours, we couldn't get any more service for the rest of the evening. I thought I was going to have to sit with the neighbors to even get my check. We won't be back!!!

JUST MOVED HERE, AND HAD LIVED IN KEY WEST, AND THIS IS OUR FAVORITE RESTAURANT.FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE,AND GREAT FOOD AT A GREAT VALUE.CAN'T FIND A BETTER SEAFOOD PLACE IN THE AREA.WONDERFUL!

A wonderful restaurant and hope it will be there for a long time. Casual and friendly. I enjoyed the steak and my partner had the grouper encrusted with crab, which is a new recipe on the menu. Our favorite restaurant in Hickory.

Great food. The crab cakes and key lime pie were the best we have ever had! The service was very attentive and friendly. Great overall experience - this is our new favorite restaurant!

We recently moved to Newton and love to take rides and check out different towns. On the way home one night we spotted it and decided to give it a try. We are in love with this place. We have told many people (even those who have lived here their whole lives) and have received many thanks for telling people about this place. The service is wonderful, staff polite, food to die for....our fav is lobster bisque!! Make sure you stop in and give it a try you won't be disappointed!

My husband, a friend, and I were passing through Hickory and decided this restaurant looked to busy not to be worth a try. We tried several things. The calamari was not fresh but the seared Ahi Tuna, the Lobster tail, and the Key Lime Pie were delicious. We will definately come back again.
