I am hooked! I come from an Italian background and Joseph's Pizza is the closest to my grandmothers cooking. The bread is even better than grandmothers. Everything I've tried I love at Joseph's. If you want authentic go to Joseph's. They must be doing something right, they have been around for over 50 years! the family is still involved and they are so warm and friendly. You have got to meet momma Rosa, she is adorable.

I have been eating at Joseph's on main street since I moved to Jacksonville in 2002 and I have been absolutely amazed with the restaurant, the food, and the staff. Yeah, of course, from time to time the waitress has not been the best, but where can you go where you always have excellent service?? NO WHERE. Joseph's is actually very clean as well. I eat there 4 times a week for lunch and at least once a week i got to the atlantic beach location. So, honestly, people lets get real. If you want the most amazing Italian food go to Joseph's. The only thing that isnt homemade is there pasta, but everything else, dough, meatballs, sausage, dressings, sauces are made fresh. I actually got my friend in Atlanta hooked on Joseph's last time he visited and now I mail him fresh bread twice a month. There is no where else that I would rather eat or would rather take my family. P.S... try the Josephs calzone... all I can say is WOW!!

Food cold, service could be much better. I would rather go to Pizza Hut.

Everyone has to try Joseph's or you will miss out on all the great food that they have been serving since 1957. Joseph's is Jacksonville's oldest Italian restaurant. The family that owns the place are really cool because they are always there making sure the food is perfect! The best thing ever is their Italian sausage. This isnt the yucky stuff in casing. It is baked and topped with their yummy meatsauce.
