Good food at good prices. The Ironstone is a very nice, clean place to eat. The staff is very helpful, we have special dietary needs and the staff is always ready to go the extra mile to research the various meals to insure our dining pleasure and health. The lounge is a nice place to sit after a fine meal, the pasta dishes are super! There is jazz on the weekends and sometimes during the weekdays, and this makes the place a relaxing oasis. Fine selection of wines and a friendly staff makes this one of our favorite places to dine in Jamestown.

We tried to make reservations for 7:30 but were told that we'd have to waitn until 8... At 8 the place was deserted.... were we told to wait to give the impression that the place was busy?
The salad was tiny and a handfull of baby greens, the "twice-baked potato" was a baked potato scooped out, mashed returned to the shell and covered with cheddar... not twice baked at all. In spite of the near emptiness, service was amazingly slow.

Excellent food, presentation, and value; felt like something you'd find in a larger city but with small town charm. Fantastic pasta alfredo!
