I love having dinner at Il Piatto. I think that, considering, the owner does most of the cooking himself, the food is prompt and delicious. Its hard to come by a restuarant owner that does as much as Il Piatto's owner does. The restuarant radiates a romantic feeling and the wine list is truely extraordinary.

I had a very bad experience at il piatto with a large group, None of our food came out a the same time, and half of it was wrong when it did come out. The tomatoes in my pasta tasted moldy, my wife found blue mold on her prosciutto, there was a lasagna that looked like it had been in a microwave all day.

I had an amazing dining experience. The food is truely incredible.
Very innovative, highly creative menu.
Service was casual but professional. Wait staff was very knowledgable about their extensive wine list.
