About Ichiban

Teppanyaki is a type of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food. The word Teppanyaki is derived from teppan, which means iron plate, and yaki, which means grilled. In North America, it is also known by the name of hibachi. In Japan, the preparation of food is an art form and teppanyaki is no exception. During its 200 years history, this from of tabletop cooking has developed into a highly refined and beautiful form of expression, characterized by an intricate combination of presentation and knife skills.

At Ichiban, your meal is prepared and served by performing chef, right at your table. Entrees can choose from fresh seafood, chicken, tender steak, and vegetables. And seafood sauce (also known as Yum Yum Sauce) and ginger sauce are offered. During the time of cooking, the chef performs some surprising, entertaining shows for you too. The show can range from juggling utensils, flipping a shrimp tail into his short pocket, tossing an egg up in the air and splitting it with his spatulas, a flaming onion volcano, and etc...

    Although Yanni's is not located in the best location, it is a very good Greek restaurant. Frankly, If they were in a better location I would go more often than I do. However, if you want good Greek food give them a try.
