West Chester Restaurant Guide

If your around West Chester do not EVER order from here. Took over an hour, wrong order and terrible food. Do yourself a favor, try somewhere else.

I fully agree with the diner from West Chester regarding Hunan restaurant! I have gone to this establishment for 23 years--- I am vegetarian and their bean curd recipes have been tops for years!! I now live in Downingtown and actually drive back to West Chester for Hunan's vegetarian General Tso's---incredible!----until the past couple months when they added the Thai. I can't believe the poor quality and tastelessness!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed!! Now I have to search for another place that carries the same variety of bean curd, etc.....wonder if I'll find one!! Hunan--- you guys blew a great thing!!

I have been a regular Hunan customer for years and since they have changed their menu to include Thai the quality of their food has become horrible. I don't know if they changed owners or what happened, but the last time I ordered from them (Sesame chicken, all white meat and chicken fried rice) I noticed a HUGE change and it was not good. I thought I would give them one more try tonight and this was absolutely the WORST Chinese food I have ever attempted to eat. There was hardly any meat to the Sesame chicken, just chewy fried whatever.... and the fried rice was tasteless with big pieces of flat dried out chicken. I am not a picky eater and I rarely complain about food, but this was just bad, bad, bad. I will be looking for a new Chinese restaurant the next time I order!!

I have lived in the West Chester area for over 13 years and have always returned to Hunan's as the best chinese.
