This is a great place to stop on a cruise in the foothills. Great food at a good price with a lot of charm. They have a little store for incidentals and I love the outdoor patio when the weather's good. My buddies and I like this spot for a break with the motorcycles and I like to take the family here for a special treat for dinner. It's hard to find an out of the way place, nice like this any more. I highly recommend dinner on the terrace with the lights and water wheel, very relaxing and cool.

The menu is typical Americana. Comfort food done well. The service is excellent. Prompt courteous and polite. Table settings are basic, clean and complete. What more can you ask for?

The drive was better than the service. Upon entering the resturant & waiting for a good 10 minutes watching the waitress/hostess serve other customers I was told that I need to "relax." I decided to stay after the rude remark & service was still slow & disrespectful. Never going back. Just keep driving....

A great spot to stop and eat, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. It's a bit off the beaten path but there are reasons it's stayed in business so long despite being in the middle of nowhere; Good food at a great price, excellent service and they even stock a few fridges w/ bevvies for the road.

Don't forget to ask for a bottle of Pepper Plant 'hot' sauce while you're there. It's great on just about everything.

One of the best motorcycle stop's in the serria's. It has in and out door seating with some of the best veiws of the water and foot hills in the serria foothills. If you ride a motorcycle you should stop by the Historical Humphrey station. Oh and the food is great.

A wonderful place to take a break on a drive through the foothills. Service is warm and friendly, as well as efficient. The dining room has rustic charm and the terrace is lovely. The food is very good for American fare. The signature dessert of cobbler is a must!
