Restaurant Description

There is a lot more to Vegas than just gambling, shows, and getting hitched. The restaurants, a feature that is generally overlooked by those in Sin City, are amazing. Of course that is if you know where to go. Hash House A Go Go, which is conveniently located on W. Sahara Ave. is one place you don't want to pass up.
Most places in Las Vegas like to charge an arm and a leg for a pleasant dining experience, so don't let the fact that the entrees are large although the prices are not, fool you. The food here focuses on breakfast and dinner. One on the locals favorites are the Chicken and Waffles (and even the NY Times said they were good), and that is at any time during the day. It does have a full bar for those seeking a nice, strong beverage to get the night going, but it is also a really great place for those with kids that need to stay on a budget to make sure everyone has a good time.
Some people, mainly those that live near the Hash House, take this place as "just another diner", but for people that aren't from around Vegas can't help but savor the delicious (and hefty) food served. The service, too, is something that should be complimented. The waiters and waitresses are very attentive and make sure to check up on you every few minutes.
Another aspect that needs to be pointed out is the presentation of the food. Yes, the portions are huge and yes, the prices are reasonable, but they don't let that be an excuse to deliver the food to the table looking like a mess. They really take pride in providing a lovely dining experience for each customer by preparing a "pretty plate" for everyone.
If you are in Vegas and you are looking for a place to fill up in (literally), then Hash House A Go Go is the place for you. Make sure you come hungry or bring friends to share with because you will not be able to finish a whole dish yourself. Whether you are in the mood for burgers or pancakes the Hash House has you covered. If you just want to "wet your whistle", so to speak, their drink prices can't be beat.
Overall, you can't beat the savings or the amount of food. If you are looking for value, quality, and quantity mixed in with some good service and a nice place to bring the kids, Hash House A Go Go is a must!

We went to this restaurant after seeing Adam on Man VS Food go there-- this place was great and fun to be at--everyone taking pictures of their plate of food-(which is an enormous amount per person)--our 8 year old grand-daughter said her waffles were the best she had ever had (she took her leftovers home and ate on them all day until they were completely gone). I recommend this to anyone that lives in LV or to tourist like us.
