My non-Russian GF liked the food, but it did not taste anything close to Russian to me (we ordered shashlyk and golubtsy). The food is overpriced and the atmosphere cannot justify the price - it was really simple and nothing special, just the Russian pop music playing in a stereo. Overall, not worth it.

u menya bil ubiley,kotoriy bil isporchen,"blagodarya" hozyainu restorana. Zakazav banket, mi bili uvereni chto nas zhdet nakritiy stol s raznoobraznimi zakuskami i vipivkoy, chto obechalos v menu. No, yvi.... Nas, kak vsegda, ne zhdali. Stol pustoy, ni posudi, ni edi. potom v techenii 2 chasov zanosilas medlenno eda. posuda gryaznaya. bokali mutnie. goryachee - podogretoe. vse nevkusno. bil isporchen vecher, kotoriy ya tak dolgo zhdala. bilo stidno pered gostyami. Eto hamstvo so storoni hozyaina restorana,(kotoriy bil uvedomlen zaranee o bolshom bankete),tak sebya vesti.

We made reservation in advance for birthday celebration with preset menu. When we arrived(party of 18) for dinner, nothing was ready. We waited for 1.5 hours to be served(restaurant had only 6 people dinning). All plates,water cups, wine glasses and coffee mugs were dirty. Food tasteless. Their kitchen is total mess. 18 people came to have good time and great food. All 18 left upset and disappointing. We'll never come again or recommend Tverskaya to anyone.

If you miss being in Russia - come here. You will get the same terrible service with the same overpriced food. The food it good but way over priced. The service is so bad you will not believe you are in the U.S.

I lived in Germany 10 Years and know what good German food should taste like. This is the real deal. Also has a superb selection of German beers and wine.

Absolutely LOVE their food... House Special Chow Mein is the BEST when they get the order right though (no veggies when we actually asked for no rice). My office usually orders delivery about once a week or every other

it was the best and freshest sushi in town! plus the size of the fish are very thick! you have to try sushi yamaguchi out! you'll be back again and again!
