The 1950s atmosphere is the key here. This is a tiny drive up stand. The parking lot has covered picnic tables and often extensive holiday displays for the kids. I haven't been here long but wouldn't be surprised if the experience has been unchanged for 50 years and that's the charm. If you like shakes and malts they have a wide variety of flavors including seasonal ones. Burgers are big and tasty. Prices are good. I don't like the fact there's mayonnaise on them and that when I ask for it without sometimes they act like that's disgusting when mayo is disgusting to me. Must be a regional thing. Also the soft drinks come in one size which is pretty small for what you'd pay for a large elsewhere and are sometimes mostly ice. In the summer I end up buying two. Overall these are small quibbles. If you want to bring your family to an old style burger shack, enjoy some holiday displays, remember how good things used to be, eat some good burgers, and not spend a fortune head on down.

BURGERS ARE AWESOME. I can remember eating here in the 70s as a kid and the food is the same! I miss this place and stop everytime I am in Centralia. Living in Boise now and cannot find anything that compares!
