Burlington Restaurant Guide

I came from out of state for a visit to the Burlington NC area. Never having been in the area before, I took a shot in the dark when I stopped in this restaurant for dinner on a Wednesday night. I ordered one of the daily specials and the blooming onion appetizer. Well, I'll never order the appetizer again unless I am with 3 other people. Then my main meal came, fried trout, shrimp with hush puppies and french fries. Argh...who needs an all you can eat buffet. I'm a big man with a big appetite ... had to ask for a takeout box. In a nutshell the place is well worth it for quality, quantity and price. As for service... pleasant, prompt and uncluttered; then again I was not looking for a place where the waiter/waitress would be groveling at my feet. Thumbs up.... a touch of local fair that the big national chains have yet to reproduce.

My wife and I used to go to the Mayflower Seafood Restaurant to eat until we discovered The Harbor Inn...... There is no comparison!!! Your place is the ONLY place to eat seafood period!! I give it 5 stars+!! Jack and Daisy Dillard
