The most important aspect of dining out for my husband and myself is the taste of the food. We've had a tough time finding tasty Chinese food in Port Washington, and when it WAS tasty it was never consistent. Green Leaf is both of those. Our preference is the spicy dishes and our faves are the orange chicken or beef, szechuan beef, kung pao chicken. Their hot and sour soup is delicious, peppery without being overpowering.
The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. Nothing terribly special. The help is decent but there is the occasional language barrier.
Our best dining experiences are when we have the food delivered. I serve it with a smile, lol, and the food truly is quite
delicious.
