Diner reviews of Great Wall Restaurant

the food is cheap at great wall. it is also an overcooked mess. i would prefer less food and better quality. the menu is too large, a sign that most of the food is probably frozen and precooked. the pork dishes used a poor quality of meat, the chicken tasted like something other than chicken and the pineapple was canned and spoiled. a frozen chinese t.v. dinner would be better. lunch only as dinner seems to be a rewarming of the lunch food.

I have ordered to go three times. I do not believe the shrimp fried rice was fresh. My mother is 83yrs old and lives in a nursing home. She really enjoys shrimp fried rice, so I buy it for her as a treat occasionally. The rice has a good flavor however, it was hard. The first time we ate it. The second time I took it back and they gave me another order. There was a difference, the rice was fresh and flavorful. The third time I ordered the rice was so hard neither me or my mother could eat it. I was so disappointed because my mother was looking forward to her treat. I called the restaurant and talked to someone named John, he was rude and hung up in my face. I called back and talked to someone named Nicole and she was very insulting. I was referred their and was told the food was good. They are usually crowded when I go there, therefore I do believe the food is most likely fresh. I regret I never had the chance to go in for a meal. Of course I will never buy food from there again. I don't like the way I was treated and I don't like disappointing my mother.

Being that we have a family of 7, we are always looking for a restaurant that is not only affordable but delicious. Great Wall has become our #1 family choice in town when ALL the kids are with us. The selection is wonderful and the taste, delicious! The bathrooms could be much cleaner however the rest of the restaurant is clean and for the taste and price, it is well worth not using the bathroom if at all possible. A MUST TRY if you like great chinese food at an even better price!
