the food was pretty good prices were a little high but the server made up for it she was very friendly and helpful but ray was a shithead

Me & my husband went to Golden's Deli & we had a wonderful time. We each had a sandwich one corned beef, one pastrami with fries. And it was delicious! And my waitress Laura, her name was. She was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly, I would go back there just because of her!

we had thanksgiving dinner catered and it was a ripoof. it was $235. the turkey was dry.the gravy was lumpy. the stuffing was okay. the sweet potatoes were okay. the sweet potatoe pie was good. the peas were hard. i couldnt even eat them. the franks in blankets were the only thing that was good. the knishes were tiny and we didnt get a tray of pasta with broccolli like we were supposed to.the apple and pumpkin pies were ok but they werent even homemade. they looked like entenmanns. needless to say we were very dissapointed and will never have thanksgiving catered from goldens again.

I was their the other night and i must say the food was incredible, I could hardly finish it thank goodness for being able to bring food home. Prices are a bit high but prices everytwhere are rising. The waitress service was amazing everyone was so polite. A waitress even took the time to talk and joke around which i thought was very nice. It's gauranteed i'll be a regular there.

cashier was not patient with my order trying to place two seperate orders for two different houses they were very impatient with me i will not go there again i dont need them they need the public dont care how famous they are if i get all the way home which is a 20 minute distance i want the order right.

the waitress from h*ll no longer works there.

The food is good. The waitress service is terrible. The waitresses are all very nasty to you. The prices are very high and you unlike most NYC kosher delis, you dont get large portions at all.

Ordered the lunch special which included soup, soda and a platter. I ordered the brisket. The soup was a small cup, the brisket portion was chintzy, the latke a hockey puck and the waitress service was really slow. My friend's wrap sandwich wasnt too good either. I will never go there again. Not worth the high price.

JUST HAPPENED TO BE ON STATEN ISLAND...A 30 YEAR REUNION...WE STAYED A COUPLE EXTRA DAYS AND DISCOVERED GOLDENS.WE ATE LUNCH AND DINER THERE FOR THE LAST 2 DAYS.VERY COMFORTABLE PLACE..WE WERE REGULARS ON FIRST NAME BASIS..IN 2 DAYS..MOST IMPORTANT IS THEIR GREAT MENU[WE TOOK ONE HOME]WE ALWAYS RECIEVED GOOD SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD...THIS SITE GIVES 4 STARS MAX...BUT I GIVE GOLDENS 5 STARS.NEXT REUNION IS 5 YEARS...WE MIGHT SNEAK UP HERE EARLY FROM NC

Poor example of the Kosher cuisine. Extremely overpriced and the portions you need a magnifying glass. We had a waitress that was 70 years old, we ordered a corn beef on a roll and freedom fries. We got our sandwiches after a lengthy time and then got ONION RINGS instead of FRIES after we finished our sandwich with so little of an apollogy. Horrible. We had the waitress from hell.
