i went to golden palace a while ago, but everytime i drive by it i think about how awful it was. as soon as i stepped out of the car, i smelled vomit. that's because there was a semi-dried puddle of it right next to me in the parking lot (omen). we went because they advertised frog legs with the seafood buffet, and i had never had them before. the food was boring, and the frog legs tasted like chicken jerky. it was very dried out. the inside smelled funny, and the price was NOT worth what i put on my plate. many chinese buffets get an obligatory second visit from me, but this one i passed up. not a bad restaurant if you just don't care about anything.

I love this place. The first 2 reviews were from 2007. I just recently went to this place and find it to be fabulous and very family friendly. I love their hot and sour soup: just enough sour and spiciness.

Compared to most restaurants around, I did not find this place that horrible. I have definitely eaten worse. I don't know what the other two reviewers are talking about.

Do not go and eat at the Golden Palace in Dothan, Alabama on the circle. Please save yourself from the pain that my son and I had.

The hot food was cold. The Hot and Sour soup was bad. Most of the food had a weird taste. Not a good place to eat.

This new chinese restaurant is the best in town, my food was cooked when I order it. Had a great taste and the place is clean. The Ashford location is just as good.

Does not allow 16 year old after a long day of softball who's sick as a dog to order off the kids menu. Most ridiculous thing in the world. I have a small appetite and 20 bucks for a 10 oz steak is absurd.

Seems to be a great place to eat. However, even though it is VERY clean, it looks as if it has not been "updated" since the 90's when it was known as SubZone.

while traveling i stopped to Larrys Barbeque n dothan, al.to get a bite to eat i purcased the lunch special. A beef sandwich, bake beans and fries. the bake beans were cold and they did not have a good selection of sauce
