This past Saturday, 8/11/12 my wife and I had dinner at Georgine's and noticed when we sat down that the glasses were dirty and water stained. We asked to have them replaced and they were but were not given any time to examine them as the waitress had them filled with water when she returned. We had to wait at least 45 min. for our dinner and I asked for the manager. The manager appoligized and offered us free desert. As we were eating dinner and the table behind us was cleaned and set up for the next guest, we noticed the the person setting the table was grabbing the silverware by the end that you would eat from and was not wearing any gloves. This happen on the next table as well.

I live in North Wildwood, N.J. I go to Georgines at least four or five times a year. If I were closer, i would go more often!!! Without a doubt, it is the best in service, value and food. What's their secret? If it's not broke, don't fix it! Besides some decor changes, they havn't changed a thing. Brillant!!!

Great place to dine. I have been going their for years. Just a suggestion please! Please do more with your dinner salads, just lettace and cucumbers aren't enough. How about carrots, onions, eggs, cheese, crotons, radishes etc.. Everything else is great.

I Love Georgine's. The owners are very friendly and greet people with kindness. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we never needed a thing. She was right on top of it. Our food was outstanding! You can't beat the price for the portion you get. My family and I will continue going to Georgine's.

First of all let me start my saying that if you are looking for an ultra hip, young, trendy eatery this place may not be exactly up your ally, however anyone who enjoys eating there knows Georgine's isn't about about flashy ambiance and super funky plating presentations, it's about all American classic dining at it's best. I have eaten prime rib and seafood dishes at this place that were just as good or even better then I have had in some of most well known five star restaurants in Center City Philadelphia and priced even better that sometimes I really wonder how they get away with it. When it all comes down to it, Georgine's does not do funky anything, but what they do, they do very well and I wish the restaurant many more years of success.

I have been going here for years and generally I enjoy the place. I can say that it's best to avoid it on major holidays, particularly Thanksgiving. The food and service quality goes downhill fast on those days as the place gets overwhelmed and they can't deal with the pace or the crowd.

Don't expect satisfaction if part of your meal isn't prepared to their usual standards. This place is known for veal dishes mostly. I tried their seafood on a friend's recommendation and found it rubbery and not very tasty at all, a major letdown. This after a wonderful scallop appetizer so it seemed odd. I got nothing offered for my complaint but a rude "sorry!" and they didn't answer my letter of complaint. Nothing off the check, no replacement.

Sadly, this place does such a business and has such a solid reputation that they can afford to loose a customer or be rude as there are plenty of folks who keep going there. I'm sure I'll go back at some point but I'll never go with their seafood again and will stick with their veal and chicken dishes which always seem to come out.

Wow, this place is great! My wife and I go here every chance we get. I have read other reviews giving the place poor ratings. Either you people are at the wrong place, or you are just to picky. I agree that it needs a facelift, but stay the same if the prices keep this low. We have never had any attitude problems with the staff. Always treated like VIP’s there. The food is excellent, with large portions, and low prices. I would strongly suggest that you try here again if you gave it a poor rating. Get there early, a wait does get long during peak hours. Two thumbs up from us. We love it!!

MY WIFE AND I GOT MARRIED AT GEORGINES 14 YEARS AGO. WE WENT BACK A FEW WEEKS AGO FOR DINNER WITH FAMILY TO CELEBRATE OUR ANNIVERSERY. WHAT A TRASH PLACE IT HAS BECOME! OUT WAITRESS LOOKED LIKE A SEA HAG AND THE PEOPLE AROUND US WERE LIKE ANIMALS. I THOUGHT WE WERE SITTING IN A GIANT BAR! THE FOOD HAS GONE WAY DOWN HILL AND THE PEOPLE THERE WERE ALL RUDE> WHEN I ASKED THE WAITRESS FOR A PIECE OF CAKE SHE TOLD ME NOT TO GET IT BECAUSE IT IS ABOUT 2 WEEKS OLD. SO WE ASKED FOR THE BILL. INSTEAD OF THE BILL THE SEA HAG BROUGHT OUT THE CHOCOLATE CAKE AND TOLD ME SHE TASTED IT AND IT IS STIIL GOOD!!! GHETTO!!! YOU LOST US AS A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE AND IT SADDENS ME TO SAY THAT!

Lets go down the line, The food was low grade dog food. The service was ok however our server was dressed slobingly and unkempt. I too was there when the gypsy s auction off women and it was appauling. The ambience is circa 1985. Cleanliness, well dusty fake plants and a grungy waterfall are nough said asidefrom the roach running across my table. The value is fantastic.. if you like large portions of bad food. Kids... they were running all overthe place and the only waiting area is a loud bar. I heard this place was good once, I'll never know. Do your self a favor and get a Big Mac.

The food was good but the waitress and hostess were the most rudest people I have ever met. The staff needs to attend customer service classes!

I was disappointed when I dined in July 2008 on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was not friendly and upon ordering a salad I bite in to piece of plastic that that was in my salad. The waitress was no where to be found and then I went to the hostess and showed her what I discovered and almost broke a tooth on. She said, she would talk to the waitress, after a while they came to the table and said by mistake it fell into the salad at it is a plastic wrapped used in the kitchne. No one seemed concerned that this occurred. I was told I could have a dessert on them for the problem. We have been here in the past but the way they dismissed this is enough for me not to return. It seems the service is not as dedicated as they were in the past to making your dinner enjoyable.

Food was a great dissapointment, server was very pushy and brought me a drink that I did not ask for while I was not even half way through the first. I had to pay for this drink that I did not even want nor drink. I felt rushed out of the restaurant. The most disgusting part of the night was the fact that they allowed a group of people to auction off a women in the "dungeon" (downstairs) for marriage. The waiters and bartenders were discussing it freely all night and it makes me sick to my stomach to believe this restaurant would do business with such despicable people.

My wife and I have been to Georgines many times since we have been married. In fact we had our wedding rehearsal dinner there almost 25 years ago. I was shocked last Saturday when we were treated so rudely by the hostess that we had to leave, before we had a chance to order. We asked for a table for 7, and explained that 5 of us were ready to be seated when the table came available. The last 2 in our party were 25 minutes late. After we were seated about 10 minutes, the hostess came and told us in an abrupt manner that if the other 2 in our party didn't arrive soon we'd have to give up the table this was about 6:15 in the evening, They were pushing us to order because they wanted the table available by the 9 pm comedy show (come on is that my problem) We would have been happy to order another round and some appetizers, but the waitress wouldn't come near our table. Some of us actually had to go to the bar to get a drink. About 10 minutes after the 1st hostess can to harrass us, a 2nd woman showed up demanding we call the couple we were waiting for and ask them what they wanted so we could get our order in, about 2 minutes later the couple arrived. By now it had gotten so bad with the staff we all left in disgust. It almost ruined my mother-in-laws day. Fortunately we went to a really nice new resturant in Bensalem called Toscone's At the end of the night, we split a $330 bill and dropped 4 hundred with the tip. To bad for you Nagle family we will never be back. Thats' 3 familys you can cross off your list.

Although the food is good the management of the restaurant needs work. I had a 5:30pm dinner reservation on Sunday, April 27, 2008 and did not get seated until 7:00pm. When questioned why the wait, the manager's only response was "We're working on it; We're a little behind." I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with children (I have an 18 month old who had to wait a really long time to eat) and I don't think I would go back either.

My husband & I love this restaurant. The food is great, the service is great and the prices are very reasonable. Georgine's is a great place for a romantic dinner or a family night out (although I wouldn't want to bring my 2 toddlers in respect of the other diners). My husband loves the bread & cheese plate they bring before the meal. I love the steaks! A+ all the way.

This is one of the best resaurants I've ever been to. The "stuffed lobster" is exceptional. Two tails stuffed to the "gills" if you will. Service was excellent. I have returned there several times and will continue to be a regular customer.
