I love steaks and going out to eat with family and friends, so my wife the kids and i along with my father-in-law headed out to the world famous Big Texan Steak house- An error in judgement i will not repeat
The rib eye or whatever that trash was on my plate was terrible and the service was worse. Its a nice looking place so if you want to spend 75.00 on looks thats all your gonna get.The place is a tourist trap...there are good steaks in Amarillo... just not here, if you want a good steak just ask any of the locals and they will point you in the right direction.

I looked forward to eating a large man's prime rib that i didn't even have lunch, just so i could enjoy eating at this restuarant, very disappointed had to send my prime rib back because it was overcooked and the second one brought to me had alot of fat and was still overcooked. Very dissapointed in this retaurant. I get better foot at salt grass in arlington.

It should have been a clue to us when the greeter had to bus the tables to seat you. The service was awful. Nothing we ordered was right. Had to beg for check. The overall experience tonight was the worst! I would think twice before going!

My husband and I ate lunch at the Big Texan. We had looked forward to it since it is so highly advertised. The day we were there and had given our the server our order a large group of people were seated and after that we were totally ignorned. Other servers tried to serve us but we were not happy. The food was average and we felt over priced.
