This place is incredibly overpriced and in kind of a run down ghetto next to a very smelly Chinese place. The food gave me food poisoning and I threw up for 2 days because of their "blackened alligator." The owner denied I could have gotten sick when I called and was incredibly rude, I would never consider this place again. Do *not* dine here.

I love coming to the Bayou for lunch alone. It's quaint, fast, and reasonably priced. The food is good - try the alligator, crawfish, catfish sampler. The spicy cornbread is worth the extra calories.

The best restuarant in the area...just enough spice, with great sweets to end the evening

We ordered red beans & rice, crab salad, and the creamy vegetable tomato soup. They were all excellent. The flavor was outstanding, the presentation was beautifully done and we are definitely going to be repeat customers.
