WHILE THE OVERALL ATMOSPHERE IS ADEQUATE THE UNDER UTILIIZATION OF THE FACILITY IS A SAD RESULT OF POOR IMAGINATION.NO PLACE WITH SUCH A SETTING SHOULD BE SO BOORING.WITH THE LOCATION A PERSON WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE "THE"DESTINATION IN TH AREA,BUT IT'S A DENNY'S WITH A VIEW.IT'S ALSO CHEAPER TO HAVE A DRINK AT THE GROVE PARK INCLUDING THE DRIVE TO GET THERE.THE ONLY REDEEMING QUALITY IS THE STAFF WHO ALTHOUGH ABANDONED BY THE OWNERSHIP STILL PURSUES A PROFESSIONAL DEMEANOR
My wife and I ate there this summer. We had searched all of Morganton in search of good food the week We were there. We had almost gave up. We went inside and found great service, great food,and overall A GREAT PLACE TO EAT. Our waitress was very attentive, in fact our bill was only 35.00 dollars and we tipped 10.00

A breath of fresh air...inside and out. Food was wonderful, service outstanding...atmosphere relaxing and inviting. What I want when I eat out...not another place like it in area.

I recently discovered this little gem a couple of weeks ago. I have drove by it a hundred times, but decided to stop in and give it a shot. This is hands down the best restaurant in this area! The wait staff is excellent even when the place is packed. They offer outdoor dining on a patio overlooking the river. The food is divine, and the variety is great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting great food in a great atmosphere.

The food was absolutely wonderful, the service was GREAT! Hands down the best restaurant in Morganton. It is always nice to be able to get great food and superior service. I highly recomend Friday Friends!

The food was delicious and the cake divine. My wait staff was nice and prompt. My husband and I went for a 2 year anniversary dinner while traveling from our vacation spot. It was a lot of fun, if not entirely romantic, but eating outside might have been. I would stop there again in a heartbeat if we are ever in the area again.

We have visited this restaurant on several occasions. Each time we found the food to be very good and the waitstaff to be very proficient in their duties. Last night, we had excellent service from a young man named "Daniel". Above all, the riverfront dining both inside and out makes for an awesome dining experience with friends or a quiet, romantic dinner for just two.

I don't know what the other reviewer was reviewing, but it obviously was not Friday Friends. I have eaten here at least weekly, if not more since it opened. This is one of the best run restaurants in Morganton, if not the best. The menu is varied to suit many tastes and diets, the food is great, the ambience encourages getting together with your friends and the staff is well trained and friendly. For your money and time, you will find no better place to dine in the area.

the food was cold and the tea tasted burnt, the waiting staff wasnt good either they were very uneducated about serving people.
