The Four Seasons is open Friday and Saturady nights from 4:00 to 10:00 and Sundays from 11:00 to 4:00 from Easter through Thanksgiving. It is closed between Thanksgiving through Easter (Hours are longer in the summer months).
The menu is pizza and sandwiches but the buffet is where the food is. You can either have the soup and salad, the vegetable buffet (which incules the salad and soup) or the whole buffet. Local vegetables are features through the year so in corn season there will be corn on the cob or homemade cream corn. Always on the Buffet is Fried and broiled fish fillets, Fried shrimp, chicken figures, hush puppies, salsbury steak, pizza, baked chicken, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, rice, carrots, mac and cheese, baked apples and a seasonal cobbeler. Other items will vary with at least two more meats (like turkey and gravy, pork bar-b-que, bar-b-qued chicken or meat loaf), pasta and two suaces and other vegetables (like orca, baked potatoes, tomatoes (fried green and red sliced) green beans).
The Salad bar is simple but there are normally three soups like French onion, Seafood Gumbo and Chicken and rice.
Dinner can be topped off with the cobbler or the baked apple with some of the best soft serve ice cream there is.
The best think about this buffet is that there is a constant replenishing of what on the buffet. It is always hot and fresh. Small amounts are place out on the buffet line and the kitchen staff is always keeping an eye out for refills. Your Soft drink or water glass is kept full but not to distracting.
When you go to the Four Seasons, try to ge a seat near a window. There are bird feeders set up and you can watch the birds eat as you eat. The interoir is rustic but do not let the looks fool you. This is some of the best food around.
