Farmhouse

I have been going to this restaurant for years. I have always loved it until about two years ago. I unfortunately decided to give it one more try.

The prices are outrageous. My husband and I spent $40.00 for lunch and not only was the food bad but we both left hungry. Very disappointed. We could have went to a nice chain restaurant for the less than that and left with a full stomach.

The service was decent but the food was so bad that good service could not make up for it.

To make matters worse, the manager/owner or whoever was yelling at the employees. I could not believe what I was hearing. I wanted to stand up and say something but didn’t for the fear that it would make matters worse for these poor people.

There used to always be a waiting line to get in on weekends. I have not seen that in a long time. I would think during this economy, when the owner sees business not doing well, they should be smart enough to make changes and definitely do everything possible to ensure wonderful customer service and dining experience.

I am sorry I gave this place one last try. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Restaurant was easy to get to off Interstate 10. Home style cooking and a great menu. Mostly known for it's breakfast (served all day), we were there for dinner. Giant servings. Waitress was very cordial and prompt. I asked if they still accept "Entertainment 08" coupons and got a friendly answer with a smile, "sure do!" I had the Philly cheese steak (lots of beef, mushrooms, bell peppers and onions) with Onion Rings. It was delicious. The wife had a turkey garden salad. Lots of turkey and served with dressing on the side as she requested. Sandwich was $9.99, Salad $8.99. Country decor (quilts, cows, antiques, just like a farm house).

The food looks good but lacks taste. The salsa isn't hot and overall it could use some spicing up. Large selection on the menu, with a large number of mexican items. This is American style food with a mexican twist, but without the true "flavor."
