Restaurant Description

Welcome to Emilios Tapas! Chef Emilio Gervilla has been wowing diners with his Tapas, the "Little Dishes of Spain". since 1988. With four locations there is never an excuse for not treating yourself to the tastiest little bites this side of Barcelona. Named the "King of Tapas" by the Chicago Tribune, Emilio has continued to offer Chicagoland consistant, delicious, artistically presented Spanish Cuisine at slightly more than fast food prices. Meals begin with a cup of complimentary Tapa. They disappear fast but you can order a "rancion", a small portion, to nibble on while browsing the menu. Indulge yourself with Emilio's famous "Patatas con Alioli", garlic potato salad, and his tangy, creamy "Queso de Cabra", mild goat cheese baked in a mellow tomato basil sauce, that is slathered on crispy garlic bread. A full bar with tasty sangria, and a large selection of Spanish wines and sherry makes a visit to Emilio's a mini vacation to Spain.A bit of Spain in downtown Chicago, Sol y Nieve is located near the intersection of Michigan and Ohio, and it is the winner of many culinary awards. European Spanish Tapas are served in a cafe style setting. Sol y Nieve's impressive bar offers an extensive list of Spanish wines, sherries and ports. Murals of Spanish Life, tile mosaics, and Spanish Music complete the ambiance. Weather permitting, an outdoor Cafe is open. Banquet facilities are available at Sol y Nieve.New "TAPAS TO GO" At All Locations Discount Parking Available

We have been dining at all of Emilio's Tapas for many years. The chef actually comes out of the kitchen and visits with the guests! We love eating on the patio with a pitcher of Sangria and a few of our favorite tapas: grilled calamari, garlic potato salad, and dates. they have excellent specialas and I love the whitefish. The place looks like an old Spanish restaurant in Spain - very cool.
