Diner reviews of El Tejano
A diner from WV

My mother and I decided to go to El Tajano’s for my birthday and when we walked in the place was much disorganized but decided to stay. There was only one other party of 4 in there yet it still took the waitress several minutes to even come over to take us to the table and to take our drink orders. We arrived around noon and it took over 40 – 45 minutes for them to even bring out our meals. At that point we had already asked for to-go boxes of which they brought out one meal thinking that one of us was still going to stay and eat. Then we said where is the other meal & they acted as though they had no clue what was going on and went back to check and it still wasn’t ready. We walked out very unhappy and hungry & they seemed as thought it didn’t matter. I would NEVER return or recommend this place to anybody. HORRIBLE service and you NEVER get your food. If they don’t understand English then they need to return to their home country or learn to speak and understand English as well as how to run a business. VERY POOR SERVICE!!

This family restaurant features delicious food and great service in a bustling atmosphere. The noise level is high as in most restaurants of this type. Prices are moderate.

Jan 2008: Thursday evening: A once fabulous restaurant in Germantown has finally bit the dust in my opinion. We used to absolutely love it. Decor has been diminished by the owner taking down the beautiful grape vines th
