A Ripping Good Time in Grand Rapids

Welcome to Grand Rapids Michigan! This city is located right off the east side of Lake Michigan and has a lot of sites and activities to offer you. You should check out some of Grand Rapids great parks. The Blandford Nature Center has over a 100 acres of land for you to explore on some of the beautiful days in Grand Rapids. If the weather is looking kind of cloudy then head to some of the fine museums right in the middle of town. The town is home to the General R. Ford Museum as well as the Children and Art Museums, so take your pick. There is also tons of sight seeing and shopping for your visiting pleasure. Heritage Hill Historic District is a great place to learn about the history of Grand Rapids or you could head out to Rockford & Squires Street Square. At this shopping area you can enjoy some of Grand Rapids best shopping along with many dining opportunities as well. If you are in the mood for some lunch then Grand Rapids has some great eateries from which you can choose. Come and visit the Grand Rapids Brewing Company where you can take a tour of the factory and then grab a bite to eat right at the factory. If you are in the mood for a great sandwich then head over to Blake's Turkey Sandwich Shoppe where you can get a great sandwich and many more other delicious things to eat. After lunch you can visit the John Ball Zoological Garden. This place is home to over 1000 different animals and an array of beautiful plants, so come out and have fun in Grand Rapids with everyone.
