About Dickey's Barbecue Pit
The original Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in Dallas in 1941, with a simple goal - "Serve barbecue so good people will crave it. And don't make 'em wait too long to get it." That's still our mission today. And, the original store is still open for business. In fact, there are Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants all over the US. But more than 60 years later, they have remained a family business because operating any other way wouldn't be true to who they are. The family secret to success? "Our barbecue is slow cooked and served fresh and fast at every restaurant. Every day.
We'll Cook. You Take the Credit. Let Dickey's cater your next big event. Or even your next small one. Either way, it will be one great meal your guests will thank you for. And just like everything else at Dickey's - there's lots of catering options to choose from: Don't wanna lift a finger? Then full service catering is for you. Want a buffet, but prefer to serve it yourself? Buffet delivery it is then. Prepared, but prefer to pick it up yourself? Then pick one of our family packs and call ahead to order.
Simply put, at Dickey's BBQ Pit, we serve barbecue of the highest quality, we do so with the best group of people we can find, and we treat our customers like family.
