Danny's is located in the space formally occupied by Adagio Restaurant & Wine Bar. Chef-owner Daniel Inserra successfully ran Adagio for 4 years and built an excellent reputation for delicious food and hospitable service. Chef Inserra received his training at the French Culinary Institute. After graduation he traveled throughout Europe cooking, returning to New York City to work at Lutece, Le Cirque, Raoul's, and most notably for chef David Bouley. Chef Inserra insists on sourcing the freshest ingredients, never compromising on quality. Assisting him is his wife Kate who serves as Danny's pastry chef and general manager.
