Great place for sea food on fridays, All u can eat Crab legs are the best

My husband and I schedule the last leg of our trip (to and from Destin) to dine at Country Folks. We have always had great service and delicious food! The southern comfort food is a great treat compared to all the other premade,frozen food of chains. We own a restaurant and I tend to be a little bit of a critic, but I have no complaints!

We went there for lunch the other day and plan on going back tonight. The food was outstanding and cleanliness was without reproach. My wife and I both love frog legs and this is the only restaurant in this area we have found that serves them.

My wife and I really enjoyed our trips to the Country Folks Buffet. Food was excellent, staff was most friendly. Lovely! There is a pizza shop in town also, where we also enjoyed the dining. The owner's young son was our server and he was a pleasant, entertaining young lad. We would also recommend eating there.

The best seafood buffet I've ever had. My wife and our children love it!

We had a wonderful Seafood Dinner. Service was great. The blueberry dessert was to die for. We will go back and take friends and family. The price was very low, but the food was excellent.

This is truely one of my favorite buffet restaurants of all time. The food is very yummy! May I suggest all of the desserts( specifically the banana pudding) and the cornbread dressing!!!! All of the food is to die for! The atmosphere is very southern and home-y! The service is good, with the kindest of waitresses! Be sure to stop here when passing through !

Country Folks Buffet in Florala AL. has been able to secure the #2 spot on “Places never to dine unless you’re starving to death “list.

Friendliness - The staff was rude at best. Dirty looks were thrown to customers like curveballs in N.Y. Yankee Vs Boston Red Sox game.

Cleanliness - Food on the floor, dirty dishes. I should note... Even McDonalds keeps a clean floor.

Service - Serving staff preferred to talk rather than serve. Servers watched the door like hawks then proceeded to gossip on anyone they knew who entered. Waitress was very pleasant.

Food Quality - Grouper < doubtful it was > was baked, or fried. Either choice was a losing battle. Country style steak was the equivalent of pouring salt in ones mouth.

Conclusion - Your money will be better spent buying snacks at a gas station, to hold you over till you can find a less than horrible dining establishment!

Having a bad day is never an excuse for poor service!
