Diner reviews of City Diner
A diner from Whitehall, PA
Jul 20, 2009
As of July 14, 2009 the City Diner is under new ownership. While most of the waitstaff remains the same, the new owners have introduced a completely new menu and dessert menu, installed a salad bar, and bring a clean and friendly atmosphere that might have been lacking before (refer to review #2). The diner has experienced an internal face lift that is ongoing--new paint, carpet, chairs, counter, lights and eventually bathrooms, tabletops, and booths. The floor manager is very amiable and concerned with the comments and requests of his customers. The food is fabulous. Highly recommended!

Most entrees were greasy chicken and beef soaked in dark sauces.. Very poor quality of food here. Freshness of many dishes including seafood was questionable. Definitely quantity over quality. This place was just depress
