Just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know your food was a huge hit at the party and the amount we ordered was perfect!

BBQ is great but my favorite is the chumley burger loaded. A ½ lb burger, bacon, cheese, homemade BBQ sauce, LTO,... Chef Dan and Chef Fred rock

All went well on Saturday. The food was delicious. My family could not get enough and they could not stop complimenting the food and the chef. The servers were well worth it. They were great.

Thanks for everything. I will certainly recommend you and your restaurant! Thanks for supplying the tent too!

Just had the wings at Chumleys. OMG go there and get the wings. Jumbo wings buffalo style just like the Anchor Bar in Buffalo and the Garlic Parm were amazing. The wife ate the whole pound and she never eats wings. They are nominated this year for hudson valleys best wings at metromix and I will go and vote right now. Next time i will try the wings BBQ with the "Doctors medecine"

Stumbled upon Chumleys when in the area a friend told me to go try their Pulled pork or Chicken. I had both. The Chicken was very moist till the last bite and dipping it in Chumleys Original Sauce really sets it off. The pulled pork easily the best I have had in a long time since coming north. Great food, keep it up guys

Another phenomenal tailgate yesterday – THANK YOU for all of your hard work. Thanks to Kyle too! You guys truly put your heart and soul behind the tailgate & we appreciate that immensely. The Cheesesteaks were incredible and the wings rocked as well not to forget the amazing bfast food. Hope you had a good time!

What a great find. This little store (18-20 seats-booths) serves some of the best food in Orange County. From BBQ to Grill the food is outstanding. We had the Coffee rubbed steak,the Baltimore pit beef, chicken and the Kids Hot dog meal. Everything was spot on. We will be back as soon as we digest the big portions. This is the only BBQ place to go in Orange County, please don't be fooled into going somewhere else!

Whether Luch or dinner, this place rocks. You can taste the quality and love that has been put into cooking their products. I had the Chumley Burger which is a ½ lb Black angus burger smothered with Cheese, BBQ sauce, onion and mushrooms and an onion ring. These guys make everything homemade even their pickles which I was told was awarded this year in the Rosendale Pickle Festival. Go, just get there and you will taste the quality and love

"Brisket is always moist and delicious, chicken is succulent, and I could live off of the mac n cheese and potato salad. Truly love the innovative dishes, like the Redneck Gyro! Don't stop doing what you're doing - I've tried other bbq in OC and this is simply the best. I go at least once a week because it's worth the money."

Just on a side note, 3 years ago I moved up from North Carolina were I spent many many meals eating some of the best BBQ available. I should also mentioned that I am a North Carolina Certified BBQ Judge and have judged many BBQ Cook Offs down south.

In my oppion 2 things make the barbecue amazing and it would seem like you have those 2 things down pat

1- The meat needs to remain moist until it is served. Great Job on that.
2- You have to have a good sauce or (Dip) as it is referred to down south.

Bravo on both counts. You truly have a winner. My wife had your bake chicken and was equally impressed.

I must say your BBQ is the best I have had north of the Carolina's in the past 3 years.

I must admit my wife is very fond of your bake beans also

Wednesday night prime Rib dinner special was AMAZING. My sonhad the Prime Rib sandwich. However he opted for the skinny dip and not the belly flop of the sandwich into the AuJous sauce. I can't wait to see their other week night specials

Amazing food. Very original and good baang for the buck. Could get pizza, mcdonalds, Chinese. However this is REAL QUALITY food and costs the same if not less.

I am humored by the person who said he would never eat there again on April 22nd and then another review on April 26th. Did they go back? obviously not a real review

Guys....I ordered a fried chicken, take out dinner from you last night and
it was outstanding!

I normally pick up my fried chicken from Popeye's in NJ on my way home
from my office. No more! Your chicken is much better (it actually tastes like
chicken) and so are your sides.

I thought I would give it a shot and call you to ask if you would make
fried chicken, I had seen it on the specials before. I was happy to hear that
it was ok. I know it's not on the menu, so thanks for preparing it for me,
and I hope I can call any time and get fried chicken! I also like your BBQ
wings, corn bread and Caesar salad very much as well.

You guys are so convenient, I can always park nearby, the orders are
always ready on time, and your front of the house staff is always courteous!

When my husband and I want a good MEATY meal, Chumley's is THE place!
Prices are fair and the steak sandwich is to die for!! (bad grammar - great
sandwich!)The staff is friendly and helpful.
You can't go wrong with any of the choices.

You need to try the chicken dinner if you're reading this and you haven't already tried it. Honestly, it's on point - moist chicken, perfectly seasoned, and not just finger licking good but finger sucking good and marrow sucking good. It's tastey beyond belief, and if you dunk it in the Fired Up Chumley's Sauce like I do, it's just kicked up to another level!

I wanted to share my heartfelt appreciation for all of the effort you, Jessica, and everyone at Chumley's put in to making my father's 60th birthday a ringing success! I especially appreciate your responsiveness throughout the planning process to my many questions and concerns (my having never catered such an event before).

You and Jessica were wonderful on Sunday - the setup couldn't have been done better, the food was FANTASTIC - there was so much of it, we've been enjoying it since then - and Jessica really went above and beyond anything I expected in terms of service. She went around to tables, offering to refill drinks and clearing plates, she reminded me that we actually had to brew coffee (and then took care of the brewing AND the cleanup of the coffee maker afterwards), she served the cake, and cleaned up afterwards. Having all of the food put away in takeout containers and brought into the house was a HUGE help. I really did feel like I was a guest at this party, and I can't thank you enough for all that you both did.

Please share my thanks with everyone at Chumley's, and especially Jessica. I got compliments from everyone at the party, both as to the quality of the food, as well as Jessica's and your friendly service. I can't wait for the next occasion to celebrate so that we can do it again!!

I hope that I will see you at your restaurant when I am up at my fathers' house (he enjoyed the food so much, I think he's looking forward to going back!)

Just wanted to say you have “The Best” BBQ we’ve ever tasted! We stopped in today while driving thru town, at first we were going to eat at the deli/diner, but as we were walking on the sidewalk and I saw your place for the first time there was no doubt in my mind we had to take a immediate detour. We are from North Jersey, and great tasting BBQ is non existent here. Infact, last year we ate at the Mason Jar, a restaurant in Mahwah that prides itself on BBQ, but when I took a bite into their pulled pork sandwich I was horrified! Bland tasting and certainly dry, stale pork that must have been sitting out for hours. We were very dissatisfied and never returned.
First up was a ½ lb of wings, mild, and they were awesome! Perfectly cooked & crispy, the sauce was lip smacking! MMMMMM, next was a giant sized pulled pork sandwich, so large that the buns were being pushed to max capacity, I thought to myself: Do my eyes deceive me?!! Is this really all for me?! Well, maybe, my wife quickly grabbed a few pieces before I clamped down tight with both hands. I’m not sure long it lasted, maybe 5 minutes, maybe 10 at most, but then it was history, that sandwich was the BEST I’ve ever had. The Pulled pork was hot, tender and beyond tasteful. The BBQ sauce was beyond any other sauce I’ve ever tasted.

Well Chef Dan, CONGRATS!!! You have done it! Your hard work has paid off and it certainly shows in the quality of your food. The staff was very polite, helpful and provided quick service. The inside of the establishment was clean and organized.

Excellent "honky-tonk BBQ". We drove 30 mins. to try it. Definitely worth the trip. Good kids menu. We love good BBQ and will frequent Chumley's often. Loved the cornbread - best I've tasted in a long time! Nice BBQ sauce on the pulled pork - I chose their "original" sauce.
